So much more than a summerhouse, this building features Eco-quilt insulation in the walls, roof and floor to retain a warm, welcoming and comfortable interior, designed and built for year round use. We’ve not cut any corners on our garden rooms, with premium finishing touches as standard! From 100mm thick insulated walls to a premium EPDM rubber roof covering. Our garden room’s feature double glazed windows and wide opening French doors as well as high quality fixtures and fittings.
The Thoresby exterior is a contemporary take on a traditional apex design and features a welcoming sheltered veranda to the front. The interior is open and airy and boasts a high ceiling, creating the perfect frame for a feature light! Manufactured to order here in the UK by our highly skilled team, using only the highest grade materials, you can be confident in the quality.

At Mercia we like to make the shed buying process as stress-free as possible, that's why we offer a professional and efficient Installation service across a wide range of our garden products, including sheds, summerhouses, greenhouses, playhouses, log cabins and insulated garden rooms. So you can sit back, relax and let our expert fitters take care of everything.
Once you have purchased our Installation service, our helpful customer service team will send you all the necessary information on how to prepare your garden for the installation. Before we arrange the installation we must ensure you have a firm, level base with a minimum of 60 cm space surrounding, for our installers to assemble your garden building upon and ensure they leave you with a building fit for many years of service. Once confirmed we will arrange a date that best suits you.
Installation will take place on the same day as the delivery of your building. Our friendly team will keep in contact and you'll be given a 2-hour delivery slot, meaning there is no need for you to wait in all day. Our expert fitters are fully trained and will work professionally, carefully and quickly to ensure that your new garden building is constructed safely and to the highest standard in your chosen location.
Once completed, our team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to unwind and enjoy your brand new garden building.
